Day 7 - Stuarts 30th Birthday

After about 30 hours of not hearing from Stu I was starting to get a little worried.... Courtney and Daniel quickly reassured me that this is normal. Apparently it takes awhile to get situated on base - and even longer to get your internet capabilities set up.  The good news is ... that its quiet over there and the outgoing trauma surgeon has been quite bored =)

Had to take a few pics of the kids this am.... J was doing "his work" and Hadley was just hanging out...

Jackson is very proud of daddys sticker chart!

After dinner, Jackson blew out daddy's birthday candle. He actually did this several times, ha! Our nanny, Karissa, stayed late tonight to help out. Very much appreciated, especially since Hadley was fussy and didn't want to eat or go to sleep!

We really wish we could be with you to celebrate! We love and miss you so much!

During bath time, Stuart called 4 times before we heard the phone. Oops.  Such a blessing to hear from him and be able to see his face. Honey, I love you more than life but the mustache has to go.  He seemed beyond exhausted but was in good enough spirits to make goofy faces at us =)

I found out tonight that one of the CSTARS families lives in our neighborhood. I think they are a bit older, but still a very good resource. I continue to be amazed and so grateful for all of the support I have been given so far.

Hope you had a good birthday babe. Can't wait for you to get home so we can take a trip and really celebrate!!!
