Day 44

We had a blast at TSO last night. Well, there was a little traffic issue beforehand, but other than that - it was awesome!  Jackson behaved better than I expected, especially considering it was way past his bedtime.  He enjoyed the first 15 minutes of the show. After that, his entertainment was the goodies in mommy's purse (snacks, a drink, a mirror, pen and paper, and coins lol) We left right as they started the encore so that we didn't have to deal with traffic again.  I'm thankful that Regina was able to go in Stuarts place. I know he would have loved it... maybe next year!

I was lucky enough to be able to drive to Louisville today to get my hair done. Thanks Mom and Dad for watching the kids. Its crazy to think that last time I got my hair done, just 6 weeks ago, was the day Stuart left. I am definitely in a different place. A much better place these days.  I don't even remember the last time I cried. Wow. A changed woman for sure, literally and figuratively. Check this new do out.

This separation is definitely strengthening our marriage.  I miss all the small things that Stuart used to do. Stuff I never said thank you for. I was always complaining about something, but never appreciating the little things. Those little things add up, a lot.  As we are reading The Love Languages we are definitely figuring out what really makes each of us feel loved. Hopefully our love tanks will be nice and full when we are reunited =) He has certainly realized that my love language is quality time and hoping to give me lots of it on our vacation!

He still won't tell me that he needs anything. One of the other docs seems to be asking for things on Facebook - so I will keep y'all posted!! He is very appreciative of the packages he has received thus far and is a reading machine.

The kids have really enjoyed the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa.  We are looking forward to their return for Christmas!

 Pizza for breakfast

Cheap entertainment

 Priceless
