Day 98 - The sun will come out tomorrow

Feeling very grateful tonight. Jess, my super amazing sister-in-law, sent the sweetest care package. Lots of goodies for J, a tutu making set for H, books for me, and cards from a lot of moms praying for  us. Happy tears.

We also got a package from Stu today. He sent home random things of his, lol, and random goodies that he picked up for us on his many adventures. I keep telling him to stop sending chocolate but he hasn't gotten the memo.

He ate his ENTIRE dinner. This never happens. Maybe he will get Sprite more often. An entire half of a baked chicken breast, strawberries, and corn. One happy mom. So, as Mama Compton always told me - the sun will come out tomorrow.... Lets hope and pray.

She finished all of her mum mums and baby food too!

Throwback Thursday. This picture, circa fall 2005, is the first picture (I think) that I ever took with Stu. We went out for Mexican with our roommates from first year of Medical School. We weren't dating at the time... but obviously there was chemistry from the beginning! Too bad I wasn't smiling a little more...

Back in Bagram: Stu admitted to me today that he was basically on a paid vacation. Enough said.
