Day 107 - yet another snow day

This is what my drive to the hospital looked like this morning. BTW, I started shoveling the driveway last night and did another run through this morning around 6. Trust me, if I didn't have to leave so early Jody and his snowblower would have done the job! Im over it!
North Bend Road (just outside of my neighborhood) - completely snow covered.
Somehow, my road managed to be completely clear. The rest of the neighborhood - a slushy/snowy mess with lots of hills, hence no pictures

More of the same

This is I-275. The left lane was a hot mess and not travelled in. Snow/slush/disaster. The other cars were driving like idiots and there was no way to safely get around them. Yuck.

This is right off the exit for the hospital - I don't know the name of this road - BUT roads are starting to look better!

Or maybe not, this was right after I slid through the slushy intersection. Thank goodness no cars were coming and the light had only just turned yellow when I tried to stop. Time to stop taking pictures while driving.

More Snow Pics

My flag is getting buried

 and so is the mailbox...

I guess the trees are kind of pretty - but I still HATE the snow.
Stuart - look at that big, empty flower bed that has YOUR name ALL over it... =)

To make up for my $230 gas bill, FREE drink tickets from southwest in the mail - hallelujah - bring on spring, summer and travel!

BAGRAM UPDATE:
Stuart hung out, ate lasagna (that one of the other guys cooked) and switched rooms today. He says its smaller, but nicer and more quiet.  Closer to the shower/bathroom (which is also nicer) and closer to the dining hall. The best perk is that there is no potential for more roommates (besides Tyler). I'm still waiting for pictures - those will come tomorrow because Im not waiting any later to post this blog or I will forget.
