Day 77

77 days and Stuart is just now doing his 6th mission. That is insane. He hasn't flown in 38 days (I think). I know he is excited to get out of Bagram... but I am (as usual) a little jealous of his European adventures. Who knows how long he will be stuck in Germany this time.

This is the picture I got today, after practically begging him for one...  Its his personal bag for missions.

It snowed here today. I'm not sure how the roads became disastrous since there was less than an inch... but this afternoon was a hot mess! Dr. Janson actually got stuck in traffic during lunch so I performed "speed rounds" and saw all of the patients until he was able to make it back. Whew. It wasn't actually that bad.... just a lot of disappointed patients to be seeing me instead of him. Luckily, the roads cleared in time for the afternoon commute and Regina salted my driveway so I had no problems making it up that steep hill! So lucky for such great neighbors and friends.

The kids are feeling much better.  I offered Hadley some baby food at dinner.... and.... so far it hasn't come back up!!! She's still been waking up at night. One of these days I'll be able to sleep again, I hope.

Pay no attention to her bib on her back...
