Day 73

We made it through church again, Praise the Lord!  I obviously looked like a hot mess rolling in a little late - because as soon as we opened the doors a sweet lady grabbed my bags and helped me get the kids situated into the Children's Ministry.  I think its about time I stop lugging Hadley in her carrier. It didn't help that I also had my purse, Hadleys diaper bag, and Js bag. Ha.

After my recent cheat days, I decided that one more wouldn't hurt. Wrong - tomorrow is absolutely going to hurt when I start dieting and using the elliptical again. Oh well. My friend Eleana, who has gone through deployments reminded me that deployment= no diet. Its basically just survival mode. Lol. Darn you, Christy and your delicious cookies. I won't feel guilty and will try harder tomorrow.

One of my friends had this posted on Facebook today:
Food is the most abused anxiety drug, Exercise is the most underutilized antidepressant.
Must remember that.

Here's our day in pictures...

Why in the world have I never used Crayola's color wonder before?? I'm in love! Jackson has an absolute blast and its MESS FREE!!!!! Genius!!!! So thankful that he got tons of this for his bday!

Miss Hadley Anne playing before church

Jackson was trying to grab some breakfast before we went to church

This makes me laugh. Obviously we need to work on rectangles.... because this is Jackson's firetruck that he drew during church.

And this was his masterpiece painting from earlier

She insisted on feeding herself again

Chewing on everything

Little Stu

Cleaning up his mess from dinner

Just a little after dinner fun in the kitchen

Stuart didn't send me a picture today. He was awoken by the commander about a patient in the hospital. Apparently once he got there, the patient was in the OR - and to make matters worse, it wasn't even a CCATT patient. Bummer. Atleast he, unlike me, was able to take a nap today.

He did, however, book our hotel for Vegas this summer! WOO HOO!!! He wasn't able to get the priceline, but got a pretty sweet deal on hotwire. Last time we were in vegas I was pregnant.... so I'm very much looking forward to this trip.  Mama Compton wants to see the Grand Canyon while we are there... so he's looking into tours for that too. I think we will see either the Blue Man Group or another cirque de soleil show too. Only a year late - but happy 30th bday to me and happy 60th bday to my mama! =)

Well, I'm gonna get comfy and watch my shows.  I can never watch anything on tv with J around...
