So ready for you to come home, Stu. Oh, wait - my silly self decided to drive the kiddos to Michigan to meet you. What was I thinking????!!!!! 

August Update

Ultimate slacker here. Back at it again. Stuart left yesterday morning for his "man cation" so since I'll be single parenting it up again I thought no better time than to restart this blog!  He is headed to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota for the ultimate outdoor adventure with his dad, brothers, and cousin. Pics and details to follow upon his return home.

The kids are loving "school" at The Children's House (local daycare/preschool which is Montessori based).  Here are the official first day pics.

We went to Louisville last weekend for a wedding and got to see all of our friends again. Boy, do we miss Lou.

Jackson is enjoying soccer and was the star of the team today. Andrea took the kids for me while I had to work. Of course I am on call the week that Stuart is gone, go figure. I included some of the last game too!

I decided I missed my daily pictures... so here they are (today and yesterday, anyway!) Miss Hadley is getting such long hair and can be found running around making the weirdest noises.  Her favorite thing to do these days is anything that big brother is doing!

We plan on meeting Stu up in Michigan next weekend so that Jackson can enjoy the farm once more before the dreaded winter. Will update again soon with more pics! Pray for us this week!

June update

Hadley had a great birthday party May 31st! Still can't believe she's 1! She had a great 1 year checkup and visits the dentist for the first time next week.

The world cup is in full swing around here. 

Looking forward to our trip to Michigan for July 4th and our trip to Vegas for Mama Comptons (and my) birthday! Yay!!!!
